Southern 3-Ingredient Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos

My brother isn’t one to wait around—when these come out of the oven, he’s already grabbing them straight from the pan before anyone else gets a chance. They’re a super simple, no-fuss appetizer you’d expect at a casual gathering: jalapeños filled with creamy cheese, wrapped in savory bacon, and baked until soft, melty, and crispy. Perfect when you need something quick that still feels special.
Serve them straight from the skillet, placed on a trivet in the middle of the table. They go great with cold drinks like beer, sweet tea, or lemonade. Add chips, veggies, or a fresh salad to round things out. They pair perfectly with grilled burgers, pulled pork, or fried chicken—and they’ll disappear fast whether it’s a backyard hangout, holiday party, or game day.
Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeños (3 Ingredients)
Ingredients
- 12 medium jalapeños, halved lengthwise
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 slices bacon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a cast-iron skillet on the counter.
- Wash and dry jalapeños. Slice in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
- Fill each half with cream cheese, smoothing it evenly.
- Cut bacon slices in half and wrap each jalapeño, placing seam-side down in the skillet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bacon is crisp and peppers are tender. Broil for 2–3 minutes if you want extra crispiness.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then serve warm right from the skillet.
