‘Amish Crowd-Pleaser’—Just 4 ingredients. I bring this every year and somehow it’s always the first dish gone.

This Amish Holiday Corn Bliss Casserole—often known as corn pudding—is a classic comfort side that’s especially popular during festive meals. It’s simple to make, yet incredibly rich and satisfying, with a soft, custard-like texture from the blend of creamed corn and sour cream. It pairs beautifully with savory mains like ham or turkey.
Amish Holiday Corn Bliss Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) creamed corn
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup melted butter
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Mix Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn and creamed corn. Add the sour cream and melted butter, stirring until everything is well combined.
Step 3: Transfer to Dish
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Step 4: Bake
Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set with a slight jiggle.
Step 5: Rest and Serve
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before serving so it firms up and is easier to scoop.
Optional Variations
- Slightly sweeter texture: Mix in ½ cup cornmeal or corn muffin mix for a more structured, cornbread-like result.
- Add some heat: Stir in a small can of diced green chiles.
