4-Ingredient Honey Mustard Pork Roast

This slow cooker honey mustard pork roast shows how just a few simple ingredients can turn into something truly satisfying. It’s an easy, set-it-and-forget-it kind of meal, but the end result feels special. As it cooks, the honey and mustard blend into a rich, glossy sauce that coats the pork and brings out its tenderness.

It’s perfect served with mashed potatoes, noodles, or roasted vegetables, and leftovers make great sandwiches the next day. You can even keep it warm in the slow cooker for easy serving during gatherings.

4-Ingredient Honey Mustard Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 3–4 lb boneless pork shoulder or pork loin roast, trimmed
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard for a milder taste)
  • 1½–2 teaspoons kosher salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the pork
Pat the pork dry and place it in a 5–7 quart slow cooker.

2. Make the sauce
In a bowl, whisk together the honey, mustard, and salt until smooth.

3. Coat the roast
Pour the mixture over the pork, turning it to coat evenly. Place fat side up if applicable.

4. Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–9 hours or HIGH for 3½–4½ hours, until the pork is tender and easy to shred.

5. Rest and slice
Transfer the pork to a cutting board and let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice or shred.

6. Finish the sauce
Skim off excess fat from the cooking liquid. For a thicker glaze, cook it uncovered on HIGH for 10–15 minutes.

7. Serve
Return the pork to the sauce or spoon the glaze over the top before serving.
