5-Ingredient Skillet Pork Chops

Few dishes feel as comforting as pork chops sizzling in a hot skillet. For generations, home cooks have relied on simple pan-seared chops to turn an everyday cut of meat into a satisfying meal with very little effort. This low-carb, five-ingredient version keeps things simple with a crisp golden sear, basic seasoning, and a quick garlic finish that adds rich flavor without heavy sauces or breading. It’s an easy weeknight recipe that delivers a classic homemade dinner while keeping carbs low.

These pork chops pair well with a variety of low-carb sides. Serve them with roasted broccoli, sautéed spinach, asparagus, or cauliflower rice for a lighter plate. If you want something heartier, creamy mashed cauliflower or roasted radishes make excellent substitutes for potatoes. A fresh salad with a tangy dressing balances the richness nicely, while rice or buttered pasta can be added for family members who prefer a traditional side.
