Ham and Swiss Biscuit Sliders

There’s just something about warm, buttery biscuits fresh from the oven that makes any home feel cozy. Growing up, easy baked sandwiches were our go-to for everything — lazy weekends, game nights, surprise guests, and busy mornings when we wanted something comforting without spending hours in the kitchen. These Ham & Swiss Biscuit Sliders bring back that same feeling every time I make them.

The first time I made these was with a few simple leftovers: deli ham, refrigerated biscuits, and Swiss cheese. Less than 30 minutes later, the kitchen smelled amazing, and the sliders disappeared almost instantly. Flaky biscuits, melty cheese, savory ham, and a buttery glaze baked right into the tops make every bite irresistible.

Now they’ve become one of my favorite easy meals for weeknights, holidays, potlucks, and game day gatherings. They’re simple to make but always feel extra special.

Ham & Swiss Biscuit Sliders

Ingredients

For the Sliders:
• 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (16.3 oz / 460g, 8 large biscuits)
• 12 slices deli ham (about 12 oz / 340g)
• 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved (or 1½ cups shredded)

For the Butter Glaze:
• 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp honey (optional)
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Shape the Biscuits
Separate the biscuit dough and slice each biscuit in half horizontally to create tops and bottoms.
  3. Assemble the Sliders
Place the bottom halves in the baking dish. Add folded ham and Swiss cheese, then place the biscuit tops over each slider.
  4. Make the Butter Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and garlic powder. Brush generously over the biscuit tops and sprinkle with poppy seeds and parsley if desired.
  5. Bake
Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted. If the tops brown too quickly, loosely cover with foil.
  6. Rest & Serve
Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.

✨ Flaky, cheesy, buttery, and packed with comfort in every bite — these easy sliders are always a crowd favorite.
