Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Ingredients:

  • Breakfast sausage (mild or spicy) — 1 lb
  • Cream cheese (softened) — 8 oz
  • Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies (drained) — 1 can (10 oz)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese — 1 1/2 cups
  • Bisquick or self-rising flour — 1 1/2 cups
  • Garlic powder (optional) — 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder (optional) — 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper — 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the sausage, cream cheese, drained Rotel, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Portion the mixture and shape it into balls about 1 to 1½ inches in size. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are fully cooked and nicely browned.
  5. Serve warm, optionally with your favorite dipping sauce.
