3-Ingredient Asparagus Roll-Ups

These simple roll-ups are a classic appetizer that looks elegant without requiring much effort. Crisp, golden bread wrapped around tender asparagus and creamy, melted cheese creates a perfect balance of texture and flavor. They’re great for brunches, gatherings, or whenever you want a quick, crowd-pleasing snack using just a few ingredients.

Serve them warm straight from the oven on a lined tray for easy cleanup. They pair well with fruit, eggs, or savory dishes like quiche. For parties, you can slice them into smaller pieces and serve with toothpicks for easy grabbing.

Cream cheese8 ozSoftened

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.

Trim the asparagus. If the spears are thick, briefly blanch them for 1–2 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin until thin and flexible.

Spread cream cheese over each slice, covering almost to the edges.

Place 2–3 asparagus spears at one end of each slice. Roll the bread tightly around them and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Optional: Lightly spray or brush the tops with oil for a crispier finish.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is just starting to melt out.

Let cool slightly, then serve whole or slice into bite-sized pieces.
