Sweet Cinnamon Toast

There’s something classic about cinnamon toast. A simple slice of bread becomes something special with a buttery, spiced topping, baked until golden with a light, crisp finish. It’s pure comfort food — easy, familiar, and always satisfying.
Many people remember making it the fast way: butter, a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, then straight into the toaster. This version upgrades that method. By mixing the butter with sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and a touch of nutmeg first, the flavor is evenly spread in every bite.
The oven takes care of the rest. Baking brings out a soft, rich texture, and a quick broil at the end creates a lightly caramelized, slightly crisp top. The result is warm, sweet, and hard to resist — almost like a shortcut version of a cinnamon roll.
It’s perfect for breakfast with coffee or as a cozy snack anytime, proving that simple ingredients can create something really good.
