Cheeseburger Pockets Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: Cook the Beef and Onion
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks, and cook for 6–8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
Step 3: Add Flavor
Stir in ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 4: Prepare the Dough
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
Step 5: Fill and Seal
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, then fold the dough over and pinch the edges to seal.
Step 6: Bake
Arrange the pockets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 7: Cool and Serve
Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
