Oven-Baked Garlic Parmesan Noodles (4 Ingredients)
Nothing says comfort food quite like a warm pan of buttery baked noodles. This easy family favorite combines tender egg noodles, rich garlic butter, and plenty of parmesan cheese for a satisfying side dish that pairs well with almost any meal. With only a handful of ingredients and minimal prep time, it’s an ideal recipe for busy weeknights, potlucks, or whenever you’re craving something cozy and homemade.
Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Egg noodles (wide or medium) | 12 ounces |
| Salted butter, melted | 1 cup (2 sticks) |
| Garlic, finely minced or garlic powder | 4 cloves (or 1½ teaspoons) |
| Grated Parmesan cheese, divided | 1½ cups |
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until just tender. Drain thoroughly.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic. Add the cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated.
- Stir in 1 cup of the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well so the cheese is distributed throughout the noodles.
- Transfer the noodle mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the surface begins to turn lightly golden around the edges.
- For a crispier topping, place the dish under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.
- Allow the noodles to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Spoon onto plates and enjoy the rich, buttery, cheesy goodness.
