Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

IngredientAmount
Egg noodles (wide or medium)12 ounces
Salted butter, melted1 cup (2 sticks)
Garlic, finely minced or garlic powder4 cloves (or 1½ teaspoons)
Grated Parmesan cheese, divided1½ cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until just tender. Drain thoroughly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic. Add the cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well so the cheese is distributed throughout the noodles.
  5. Transfer the noodle mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup Parmesan cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the surface begins to turn lightly golden around the edges.
  7. For a crispier topping, place the dish under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.
  8. Allow the noodles to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Spoon onto plates and enjoy the rich, buttery, cheesy goodness.
