🥘 Ration-Era Bean Bake
Ingredients:
• 3 cans (15 oz each) pork & beans or baked beans, undrained
• ½ cup ketchup
• ¼ cup packed brown sugar
• 2 tbsp yellow mustard
• 4 slices bacon or salt pork, chopped
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, stir together beans, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard until well combined.
- Pour into baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle chopped bacon over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, until bubbly and bacon is browned.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
