Salted Caramel Chocolate Sugar Cookie Bars Recipe

Sometimes you just need a dessert that’s rich, gooey, a little crumbly, and completely indulgent. These Salted Caramel Chocolate Sugar Cookie Bars check every box. I first came across this combination at a holiday cookie exchange, and it was an instant favorite.
With a soft sugar cookie base, melted chocolate throughout, and a buttery caramel layer on top—finished with a pinch of flaky sea salt—these bars strike the perfect balance between sweet and salty. They’re ideal for gatherings, but just as good for a quiet treat at home when you want something special.
They’re delicious served on their own, or you can take them up a notch with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh berries. A cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or cold milk makes them even better.
